The width noted in the title is the width of the shade. For instance, if you order a 30" shade, you will receive a shade that is 30 inches wide. If you plan to mount your shade inside the window frame, your window width will need to be larger than 30" for the blind to fit properly. Please refer to the measuring instruction image for further details. If you are unsure about the size or color, we recommend initially ordering one blind as a test.

Our zebra shades are made from a polyester material designed to provide privacy while still allowing light to enter the room. The shade contains a sheer vain (2 inches in height) and a solid vain (3 inches in height) that can be adjusted to control privacy versus light exposure in the room. The fabric width will be a total of 1-1/2 inch narrower than the Cassette Valance width, which has a height of 3 inches.
